3 Days Maasai Mara Game Reserve Safari
Masai
Mara enjoys its myth-like stories of bontiful wildlife. And we shan't
be dissapointed. Our game drives are rousing exploits in the company of
guides who regale us with bush lore, educate us on conservation and
entertain us with tall tales.
Pick
up from your hotel or place of stay in Nairobi at 8.00 a.m and after a
brief stop-over at our offices, for briefing purposes, depart for a
journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with a pit stop
at the View Point for breath taking view of the rift valley. You can
take photos and buy souvenirs as you listen to African tales about the
formation of the rift valley.
Arrive at Masai Mara in the late afternoon and enjoy a game drive till
twilight. Dinner and overnight at the Enchoro/Tourist Mara tented camp
or lodge, as you flashback the first date with the splendour of a masai
mara.
Day 2: Mara Full Day
Drive
towards the Mara river and watch the hundreds of crocodiles and hippos
which form a permanent architecture of the river. Deep forest grows
along the Mara river and its tributes, where many hippo and crocodiles
bask lazily in the sunlight.
Packed
lunch is served near the river at a picnic site as you soak in the
freshness of the bush lunch food and the wilderness that surrounds you.
The runts of the hippos will occasionally break the monotony of the soft
rustle of the bushes by the wind, making a perfect safari outdoor
experience.
After
the break, gear up for an early afternoon game drive enroute back to
your camp/lodge. We also have an optional 1600hrs to dusk game drive
from the camp when the cooler temperatures bring out the big cats to
hunt and make it an even more interesting holiday in the mara.Its only
in the masai mara that a herd of elephants surround your car only 4-feet
away that you can see their amber coloured eyes and the short
eyelashes.
Only
in masai mara will a pride of 10 lions hold you hostage for an hour, by
lying lazily beneath the shadow of your car to escape from the hot
midday sun. Its only here that a female cheetah will jump onto the hood
of your car to take a vantage view of prey on the long grass of the

Day 3: Nairobi
On
our last day, we will get up early for a game drive at 0600hrs followed
by a leisurely breakfast at the camp. We will grudgingly depart masai
mara at 0900hrs for Nairobi arriving in the early afternoon for a drop
off in the city hotel or at the airport. This marks the end of a 3 day
masai mara sojourn marked with thrills of high octane wildebeest
migration action and lows of a sundowner drink.
